Asset Tracking & Protection SystemAsset tracking is accomplished using Radio Frequency Identification technology (RFID) whereby a "tagged" asset transmits its location and specific identity to a wireless receiver that is connected to the access control panel. The system allows you to monitor and identify (misplaced) assets throughout your facility including the ability to sound an alarm should there be an attempt to leave your facility with a tagged asset. The system can also be used to monitor personnel. This asset and personnel tracking system combines asset and people identification with the ability to functionally link an asset to a person. RFID tags placed on assets and people allow strategically positioned readers to automatically track and monitor movement throughout a facility without human interaction. By linking an asset ID to an employee ID, people can carry their laptops or tools with them, allowing employees to forego physical searches. Note that we also provide systems for vehicle tracking. |
