Data Capture Station: Registration areas use this device to capture data from the same data stream used to drive embossers. Data Capture Stations have the capability to be used both online and off-line (using a keyboard and display window). Capture Stations produce a master label with a PDF 417 barcode containing patient information from the data stream. Label & Wristband Stations: The PDF 417 master label can be scanned by any Label Station or Wristband Station to generate standard patient labels and wristbands.
